another round of resume sent today, hopefully will get a call back soon. opening up to others position as well, hard to get a job nowadays. tried register with job agencies too. look up quite a few university for oversea study, researching on the different and listing down a few that i might consider. also looking at singapore's one. hopefully can really find one. there's this particular i will like to comment. i was busy the other day when this unknown number call me. i called back and was told that the one that looked for me was engaged in another conversation. so i continue doing my stuff and waiting for the person to call back thinking it might be a job offer. then i picked up the call. this person sounded rude at first with i dont know what kind of english slang... i couldnt catch what he was talking about at first and trying hard to listen. then he mention about the school name then i remember its a booth which i pass by during the education fair some time back. i merely just took the brochure and told to leave down my name and contact. ok, thats not the point. but the person just go on and on telling me about their course. when he finally asked: what do you want to work as in the future? i was thinking yes, what im gonna say will finally stop him. btw, he's calling about some tourism course. so my reply was IT,Media industry. you know what, that doesn't stop him. he go on and on again telling about the bad points of IT, like how in the future IT people is not needed already. how we can just replace IT with those blah blah blah.. like hello, i already say my interest are those. and you dare to say interest don't earn much. are you trying to encourage students here or forcing someone to buy your "product" while saying bad about other course. i got quite fed up and jus hmm uh all the way, i couldnt really raise my voice as im in the train and people are already looking at me. so i say i will get back to him again after i consider. then he tried to tell me on the program briefing that they have. i say im not free to go and he say how about next week. wah.. if you talk nicely to me in the first place, i might even consider just to go for the briefing. but sorry no. so i say to get back to him once again. he sounded disappointed though. he pass me his number, i couldnt catch one of the number then i was like huh, for the 2nd time.. type it into my phone, but still no.. so i jus anyhow punch in one number to fit in. haha. then he asked again when i will call him back. so i said by tonight, in case his heart itchy thinking can earn my commision already. well, you know what happens later already.. of course i didn't even bother to call back with the wrong number somemore. haha. this kind of people, wasting other's people time. but i had fun in the night, hoho. lucky this person didn't spoil my night. it's been a really long time. chatting and laughing over a simple meal. all the funny stuffs back then. we even went to took a neoprint as requested by bee. hahah. sorry for like keep suan-ing you the whole night, but we did have fun right! and you're still loved ok! haha. and of course to wifey. <3! |
