The Blind Side

 Based on the true story of Michael Oher, a homeless African-American youngster from a broken home, taken in by the Touhys, a well-to-do white family who help him fulfill his potential. At the same time, Oher's presence in the Touhys' lives leads them to some insightful self-discoveries of their own. Living in his new environment, the teen faces a completely different set of challenges to overcome. As a football player and student, Oher works hard and, with the help of his coaches and adopted family, becomes an All-American offensive left tackle.taken from yahoo movie it's nothing too fanciful. and the pace is rather slow.. but i think the following best describes it "...But as unnatural as it seems, the more time you spend with The Blind Side, the more engaging it becomes. In fact, before you know it, you’ll become completely engrossed in Michael’s transformation. " it's interesting. and with some remarkable characters in the show. if you got the time, i think you should really catch this show in the theater. |
